A PEDESTRIAN remains in a critical condition after he suffered devastating head injuries when he was knocked down by a car.
Emergency services were deployed to Oxford Road at around 9.50pm on Sunday after a collision involving a man and a silver Vauxhall Zafira outside the Curzon Club.
A 57-year-old man was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he remains in a critical condition.
Investigating officers would like to here from anyone who was in the area at the time or from motorists who may have dash-cam footage.
Case investigator Dick Thorpe of the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the non-emergency number (101).
“Also, if anybody was in the vicinity of the Curzon Club at around 9.50pm who may have dash-cam footage, please contact us as soon as possible.”
