A LORRY has crashed into scaffolding outside a town centre bar.
Fire crews were called to Be At One on the corner of Bridge Street and Gun Street at 1.14am this morning following reports that a lorry had crashed into scaffolding currently surrounding the building.
It is not believed that anyone was injured during the incident.
A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 1.14am on Thursday, June 7, we received a report that a lorry that had driven into scaffolding on Gun Street in Reading.
"A crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
"Firefighters arrived and put a cordon in place before confirming the structure was safe and handing over to the scaffolding company in charge. They were on the scene for about 15 minutes."
