A HOST of concerts are coming to Forbury Gardens to delight visitors for the next three months.
Forbury Band Concert Season will start on Sunday and provide live entertainment every Sunday afternoon through to September.
The programme will start with a performance by Reading-based ukulele band Small Strings, followed by the vibrant sounds of RASPO Steel Orchestra on June 10.
Councillor Sarah Hacker, lead member for culture and heritage, said: “The start of the Forbury Band Concert Season is a sure sign that summer is on its way.
“Visitors to the Forbury Gardens can look forward to a wonderful variety of live music on Sunday afternoons over the next three months.
“Deck chairs are available, or you can take along a blanket and maybe a picnic and spend relaxing summer afternoons in our beautiful Victorian gardens in the centre of Reading.”
