WILLIAM GEORGE CLAYTON, 48, of Orts Road, Reading, admitted to assault by beating, obstructing a constable in the execution of duty and criminal damage to a property under the value of £5,000. A community order was made for him to complete 30 of a rehabilitation activity requirement. He must carry out 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £300 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DANIEL JAMES BEECHEY, 40, of St Georges Avenue, Newbury, denied using threatening or abusive language towards a constable. He was convicted of the offence and a community order was made for him to complete 30 of a rehabilitation activity requirement. He must pay costs of £400 and a sur charge of £85.

CHRIS DE-WINTON, 25, of Surrey Road, Reading, admitted to criminal damage to a property under the value of £5,000. He was fined £30 and ordered to pay £85 court costs.

LINDSEY MCGUINNESS, 21, Kendrick Road, Reading, admitted to stealing two bottles of perfume from Debenhams to the value of £92.50. She received a conditional discharge of six months was made to pay a sur charge of £30.

JAMES NYSSEN, 41, of East Lane, Chieveley, Newbury, admitted to two counts of drink driving and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 48 months. He must also be subject to a curfew with electronic monitoring for eight weeks and carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.

JORDAN DENNY, 35, of Hatford Road, Reading, admitted to trespassing on the lines of a railway company and was fined £85.

JACK WERRELL, 19, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted to criminal damage to a property under the value of £5,000. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and made to pay costs of £85.

CARL ANTHONY WAITE, 35, of Wood Green, Reading, denied theft from a shop and obstructing a constable in the execution of duty. He was convicted and sentenced to six weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months. He also admitted to one count of failing to surrender and must pay costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He is said to have stolen a bottle of wine from a supermarket to the value of £4.99 and wilfully obstructed a police constable on the same day.
