A REFEREE has been charged with a string of sex offences against young children, it emerged today (Monday).
Peter Fisher, 62, will appear before magistrates on Thursday, May 17, where the charges will be put to him.
Fisher will stand accused of two separate counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14.
The 62-year-old will face a further charge of gross indecency with a boy under 16.
Fisher, of Sun Gardens, Burghfield Common, will appear at Maidenhead Magistrates' Court.
A police spokesman said: "Thames Valley Police has charged a 62-year-old man in relation to sexual offences against children.
"Peter Fisher has been charged with two counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 and one count of gross indecency with a boy under 16."
