Light fitting fire at industrial unit
FIREFIGHTERS were call to a blaze at an industrial unit in Whitley last weekend.
Shortly before 7am on Saturday, crews from Whitley Wood, Caversham Road and Wokingham Road fire stations were called to the unit in Worton Drive following reports of a fire in a light fitting.
Firefighters used two fire extinguishers to put out the flames, before isolating the electrics and making the scene safe.
Crews remained on the scene for around 30 minutes before handing back over to the owners.
