COMEDIAN and TV star Harry Hill paid a special visit to Reading on Wednesday to talk about his latest book.
Children from Geoffrey Field Junior School in Whitley had the chance to meet the celebrity guest and get their copies signed.
Shelley Hancock, head teacher, said: “It is really important for us that children have a love of reading.
“The challenge of this is to continue to find new and exciting books that the children will want to read so we are delighted that Harry could join us to launch his new children’s book.
The fun and humour of the story is something that will appeal to lots of our children.
“He really brought the book to life and I know that this enthusiasm will continue when the children read the rest of the book themselves.”
The event was organised for the Year 3 pupils with the help of WHSmith to celebrate the launch of his latest book 'Matt Millz'.
