A VIOLENT man threatened staff at a convenience store with a knife before raiding the safe.
The shocking incident took place at the Co-Op on Wood Lane in Sonning Common at around 10pm on Sunday (April 8).
Investigating officers believe the offence may be linked to a string of similar offences across Thames Valley.
The thief shouted at two members of staff and told them to lay on the ground while he helped himself to an unknown value of money.
He then fled the scene, running in the direction of Peppard Road.
Thames Valley Police released CCTV images of a man who may have vital information in connection with the armed robbery.
Detective sergeant Alun Watkins, of Force CID at Abingdon, said: “This was a very frightening incident for the victims and we believe this robbery is linked to a number of similar offences across the three counties of the Thames Valley.
“I am appealing to anybody who recognises the man in the images to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference number 43180104891, or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
