THE CHILDREN at Meadow Vale Primary School along with their teachers took part in a long distance walk for Sports Relief.
The students reached their massive goal of collectively walking 2,500 miles over the course of a day.
Paul Tatum, the year 6 class teacher along with two others, Matt Whiddett and Shane Foster walked 65,7 miles over a 24 hour period for the same charity event.
Mr Tatum, said: “I’m overjoyed that the children bought into their event so enthusiastically, the atmosphere was amazing.”
More than £2,000 was raised by all of the walkers.
