TEMPERATURES are set to drop this weekend as the threat of snow returns to Berkshire.
Following a week of mild weather, temperatures are expected to drop away to around -1 degrees on Sunday morning, with a real-feel of -7 degrees, which is bad news for anyone taking part in the Sage Reading Half Marathon.
In some areas, the Met Office is even forecasting a chance of light snow.
In Bracknell, Wokingham and Ascot, the Met Office is predicting a 40 per cent chance of light snow in the early hours of Sunday morning, but this should have cleared away by midday.
Reading's forecast looks to be a steady covering of cloud throughout the weekend, with temperatures peaking at 3 degrees on Saturday afternoon and dropping to as low as -1.
