A TRIO of dedicated bus employees have been recognised for their star qualities.

The final three winners of Reading Buses' Star of the Month Awards will have the chance to be named the overall winner for 2017.

Graeme Cheese, from Woodley, was recommended for making route notes and maps for the new Green Line 702 route.

Rob Sweetzer and fellow driver Clark Jones were both given the nod for helping confused passengers to make their journey easier.

Reading Buses HR director Caroline Anscombe said: “It is always appreciated when we hear how our employees are so helpful.

“Graeme went above and beyond to ensure that colleagues had everything at their disposal for the launch of a new route, which we took over with not much notice.

“Rob and Clark helped customers and represented the values of the company fantastically, exhibiting the ‘doing the right thing,’ ‘being caring’ and ‘unrelenting customer focus’ effectiveness that we prize so highly.”

A special ceremony will be held tomorrow (February 3) to reveal the Star of the Year for 2017.
