TWO drug dealers have been jailed for more than seven years after they were caught preparing cocaine in a hotel room.

Emmanuel Bossman and Chaman Shrestha both admitted to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin at Reading Crown Court on Friday, January 5.

The duo were stopped by police in June 2016 in Cheapside, Reading and they were found with 12 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine, which were hidden in a chocolate bar wrapper.

Drugs with a street value of more than £6,000 were later found at a hotel in Wokefield Park, Mortimer, in August 2016.

Reading Chronicle:

While on police bail, Bossman, 25, and Shrestha, 24, were found preparing crack cocaine and heroin for street sale.

Investigating officer, PC Shannon Walker, said: “The court heard that Bossman and Shrestha had an operational awareness of the impact their drug dealing was having on some of the most vulnerable people in society.

“The sentences they received reflects the severity of Bossman and Shrestha’s crimes and demonstrates that Thames Valley Police will continue to pursue drug dealers and bring them before the courts.”

Bossman, of Argyle Street, Reading was jailed for five years, while Shrestha, of no fixed abode, received a sentence of two years and eight months in custody.
