A TODDLER group which has been serving the town for more than three decades needs more volunteers to come forward.

The Teddy Bear Club, which operates from Coronation Hall in Woodley, has been forced to cut down to one day a week on Tuesdays.

The service previously ran every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning.

Sue Campbell-Montgomery has been running the club for the last seven years.

She said: "It is hard for people who already work to commit to a few hours when they are supposed to be off work.

"It is a shame, but due to the lack of people willing to help we have had to reduce the service.

"It would be between 8.45am and 11.15am. The group has been running for more than 30 years and Coronation Hall is such a well-known location.

"Under normal circumstances we would run three days a week, but we have not been able to get the numbers.

"Children can play and parents meet other parents. We just need someone who can help set up the toys."

Call Sue on 07999 502658 if you can help.
