AN ELDERLY woman is in hospital with serious and 'life-changing' injuries after she was mowed down on Boxing Day.

The victim, a 91-year-old woman, was struck at the junction of Whiteknights Road and Talford Avenue at around 11.20am.

He was also taken to hospital, along with the passenger of the car, with minor injuries.

The pedestrian was rushed to hospital for treatment, where she remains.
