A NEW arts and culture festival will make it's mark in the town this weekend.
Crowds are set to flock to the first ever Reading-on-Thames festival to enjoy a weekend of heritage walks, storytelling, theatre, opera and even Lego building.
The event, which will take place on the bank of the River Thames, gets underway on Saturday, September 9 and will run until the following Saturday.
Organisers are hopeful that the event will become a regular fixture on the town's events calendar.
In March it was announced that the town received a £550k funding boost from Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic England to host the event.
