A 15-year-old girl who has not been seen for more than a week is believed to be in London.

Makeda Wynter was last seen outside the Tesco Metro in Oxford Road at 4.50pm on Sunday June 18.

She is black, around 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build.

She has long curly black hair which may have been tied back and is thought to have been wearing a black dress and pump shoes.

Investigating officer detective inspector David Turton, from Reading police station, said: “We are continuing to appeal to Makeda or anyone who knows of her whereabouts to please contact us, so we can ensure she is safe and well.

“We would ask anyone who has seen Makeda or a girl matching her description to please call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting incident reference 1380 of 18 June 2017.”

She is thought to have travelled to Camberwell or Peckham in London.
