AN INTERNATIONAL legal firm based in the heart of Reading has seen nearly a 12 per cent jump in revenue.

Osborne Clarke reported an income of €245.1m over the last financial year, while the Uk branch saw a rise form £112.9m to £121m from the preceding year to the most recent.

Robert Wood, Head of Osborne Clarke’s office in Forbury Place, said: "These results help to emphasise once again that we have a hugely talented team with a well-deserved reputation as a leading law firm in Reading.

"Not only do we act for a number of leading corporate clients, intermediaries and banks in the Thames Valley, we can also offer significant international reach across more than 20 global offices.

"The past year has seen us change location to our new ‘agile’ offices in Forbury Place, which was prompted by the desire for the Thames Valley office to be a central hub for UK and international operations, somewhere that provides space and facilities in which teams and clients can meet, regardless of their usual office location."

Over the 2016/17 year the firm appointed 29 new partners, with nearly a third of them women. In addition the UK and Germany made six partner promotions.
