EXCITED pupils at a pre-school were put through their paces with a special obstacle course.
Youngsters at Emmer Green Pre-School took on the challenge under the watchful eyes of parents and teachers who sponsored them.
Some 46 children between two and four took on the circuit of balancing, climbing and jumping obstacles on last week.
Jack Hall, four, said: “All my family sponsored me. I liked sliding down the slide the most and I liked my mummy and daddy watching me.”
The money raised will go towards new outdoor equipment.
Wendy Robins, supervisor at the pre-school, said: "The children had a lot of fun balancing, jumping and weaving through the course and they loved the support from family members who came along to cheer them on.
"Thank you to everyone who sponsored the little ones – the money will help our pre-school so much.
"Our current fundraising total is £500 with more money still due to come in which is a fantastic result."
