YOUNG entrepreneurs are being given the chance to win a a major cash grant and a partnership with a national accountancy firm.

Haines Watts, has launched a competition calling on the best young business leaders in Berkshire to try and wow them.

Adrian Williams, Managing Partner at the chartered accountants' Reading office, said: “In facing the daily challenges that arise when building a company, it’s vital to keep that excitement alive that made you want to start a company in the first place.

"As well as the prizes and publicity for our chosen finalists, the Haines Watts Young Entrepreneur (HWYE) competition offers support such as a social network online where all entrepreneurs can share experiences.

"We also publish blogs with useful tips on business-related issues."

"The process of entering the HWYE competition is valuable because, when you answer the online questions on the entry form, it makes you stop and evaluate all aspects of your business."

Entry is free and offers anyone under the age of 36 on July 31 the chance to win a spot at the national finals in November.
