THE driver of a HGV lorry was rushed to hospital this afternoon following a three-car crash.
Crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations rushed to the scene at the junction of Russell Street and Tilehurst Road in West Reading late this afternoon (Sunday, January 15).
Fire fighters used hydraulic equipment to cut the door of the lorry to rescue the young male driver who was trapped.
The other two drivers were not believed to have been injured in the incident.
