TWO thugs who beat a 70-year-old leaving him with broken bones are being sought by police.
The victim was on the 17 bus on Friday, October 28, from Woodley when he began arguing with two white men.
They beat him before fleeing the bus near the Sue Ryder on Oxford Road at 7pm.
The elderly man was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Investigating officer PC Paul Davis based at Reading Police station said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“This incident left the victim shaken and I would urge anyone with information to contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
