AN ATTACK at the Friar Street Taxi rank left a 41-year-old with a fractured eye socket.
He was rushed to the Royal Berkshire Hospital after the attack at 10.45pm on Saturday, September 10.
The victim got into an argument with an Asian man in his mid to late 20s who attacked him having driven to the scene in a black Daihatsu Materia.
The offender is around 5ft 7ins tall with a medium stocky build. he had short dark hair and a beard.
He wore a white long-sleeve button up shirt and dark trousers.
Investigating officer, detective constable Hugh Bailey, based at Reading police station, said: “If you were in Friar Street on Saturday night please think about whether you saw an altercation between two men near the taxi rank opposite McDonalds or a man resembling the offender perhaps in a black Daihatsu Materia.
“If you have any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
