THE REVELLERS of Reading Festival can find internet and bathroom sanctity in Caversham Baptist Church.
Between 9.30am and 2.30pm on August 26, 27 and 28 the Prospect Street church will open its doors and provide clean toilets, wi-fi, plugs for charging and free meals.
Last year 400 festival goers took up the offer with the church receiving a number of thank you letters in return.
Sue Allum, leader at the church, said: “It's great to have the doors to the church open and for people to come to a safe place where they can get a meal and contact home if they need to.”
A café style service will be held on Sunday at 10.30am with guest speaker Sally Hunter who will talk about why she is a Christian and the difference God has made to her life.
