A man who assaulted a woman in Reading and then smashed the window of a property with a hammer is wanted by police.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for any witnesses to the event which occurred in Bath Road on Tuesday August 9.
The attacker knew his 53-year-old victim and approached her shortly after 6.30pm when they began to argue. Shortly afterwards he grabbed her in Prospect Park.
Thames Valley Police would like to speak to two witnesses, a man and a woman, who intervened. The man then let the woman go.
He later smashed a window of a property in Granville Road with the hammer.

A 56-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and has been bailed until 3 September.
