A TEENAGE schoolboy has been charged after a couple were attacked in the early hours of the morning.
The 15-year-old Reading boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Thursday, March 24.
The 25-year-old victim was walking through the underground walkway between Vastern Road and Station Approach with his girlfriend at 12.45am on Sunday, January 31.
The man was left concussed with a cut to his head. He was treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and has since been discharged.
The teenager has been charged with one count of assault and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, June 22.
Another 14-year-old boy arrested on Sunday, March 19, has been released without charge.
