Ferocious Dog bring their rock’n’roll attitude towards folk to Arlington Arts Centre on Saturday 9th April at 8pm, along with shanty folkrockers, The Salts. You can win a pair of tickets to come along.

Ferocious Dog - A rock ‘n’ roll shake up of traditional Celtic folk

Creating their own take on Traditional Celtic folk, Ferocious Dog takes the traditional instruments; fiddles, whistles, mandolins and mixes them up with a bit of, raw, buzz saw rock n' roll attitude. Ferocious Dog made history this year by become the only unsigned act to ever sell out the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, not only once but twice. With a successful autumn tour including sold-out shows and their new guitarist, Les Carter of Carter USM, 2015 is already looking bright, catch this band whilst you can. http://www.arlingtonarts.co.uk

Support from shanty folkrockers, The Salts - A co-operative of SEAsoned musicians, creating what is fast becoming one of the most exciting and energetic folk concepts of recent times.  Doing for shanties what The Pogues did for Folk. https://www.musicglue.com/the-salts/
