Win a pair of tickets to see Gein’s Family Giftshop

Following total sell out seasons at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2014 and 2015) and acclaimed seasons at London’s iconic Soho Theatre, the award-winning Gein’s Family Giftshop are hitting the road in 2016 for their debut UK tour.

They’re coming to Norden Farm, (Altwood Rd, Maidenhead, West Berkshire SL6 4PF) on 17th April at 8pm …don’t be scared.

Ed, Kath, Jim and Kiri (the one you never see) are faster, funnier and more unpredictably peculiar than any sketch show you’ve ever witnessed. So come and feast your eyes upon a bumper edition of sketches that aren’t for everyone, but might just be for you.

The group is made up of Kath Hughes, Edward Easton, James Meehan and Kiri Pritchard-Mclean, the silent member in name only, and has been gigging for just over three years. They met whilst studying at The University of Salford, quickly bonding over a shared love of black comedies, serial killers and Walton Ford.

Their first two years have been phenomenally successful. Winners of the London Sketchfest 2014 Best New Sketch Act and Audience Choice Award, as well as Chortle Best Newcomer Award 2015, and Noise Festival Curator’s Choice Award Winners. They were also nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer and Chortle Best Sketch Act Award.

They were invited to appear in the second series of Inside No. 9 after Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton saw their debut show. Their consummate writing talents also led to them being commissioned to write a three-part series for BBC Radio Wales, which were hugely popular when they were transmitted during the summer of 2015.
