A TRIO of men have been arrested following a 'large' brawl between two groups.
Two men, both in their 20s, were hospitalised whilst a third was injured and cars damaged.
One man was rushed to hospital with a fractured shoulder and a severe cut to his ear.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Graham Ammundsen, said: "This was a large disorder between two groups of people who we believe may be known to each other and does not appear to have been a random incident.
"I would like to speak to anyone who has any information about what happened - please contact me via the 101 number."
The fight broke out around 9.30pm on Monday, December 28 whilst the cars were stationary at the traffic light junction between Basingstoke Road and Bennett Road.
The two men who were taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital have since been discharged.
A 31, 26 and 20-year-old man, all from Reading, have all been arrested.
