The volunteers from the hospital have created 2015 diaries, a new desk-top 2015 calendar, a recipe book, keyrings and pens that will be perfect stocking fillers and raise fund at the same time.

The League will be holding stalls at the Broad Street Mall on Monday December 1, in Woodley town centre on Wednesday December 3 and again at the Woodley Precinct Winter Extravaganza on Sunday December 7, at the hospital south block entrance on Friday December 5 and again on Friday December 19 and at the Craven Road entrance on Wednesday December 10.

The League’s Christmas Cards will also be sold at cards for good causes in St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Butts, Reading. The cards cost for £4 a packet of 10.

A festive raffle will also be held with the first prize is a night for two in Reading’s Novotel Hotel, including breakfast, second prize is a luxury hamper and third £50 Marks & Spencer voucher.

The draw will be made by Chairman Lynn Bayliss at 12 noon on Friday December 19 outside the League shop’s in South Block at the hospital.

The annual Christmas concert will be held at the Falklands Islands Chapel, at Pangbourne College, with carols being led by the Pangbourne Choral Society. Tickets cost £12.50 and includes mince pie and a glass of wine and will start at 7pm on Sunday December 14.
