The horse was rescued by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue teams this morning after getting stuck in a bog.
The stranded animal was reported stuck in water up to its neck on a farm near Upton Court Road, Slough, at 9:49am this morning.
Fire crews from Langley and Slough attended the scene alongside the Animal Rescue and Heavy Rescue units.
By 10:50am the four crews had managed to free and safely return the unharmed mare to her owner.
