COMMUTERS are being warned to expect delays between Reading and Gatwick Airport after someone was hit by a train in Surrey.
The incident, which took place near Redhill at around 3pm today, brought services to a standstill and although the lines are back up and running First Great Western (FGW) has said trains can still be cancelled or delayed without warning.
Disruption is expected to last until 6.30pm, but South West Trains is accepting FGW tickets via any reasonable route while Southern Trains will accept tickets to Clapham Junction and London Victoria.
