Thames Water says customers should not experience any supply interruptions when it shuts the westbound lane between the Chatham Street and Prospect Street junctions between 10pm and 5am on both nights.
Traffic will not be able to turn right out of Chatham Street onto Oxford Road, but traffic heading into town will not be affected.
The company's Justin Coffey said: “It’s vital we get these leaks repaired, but we also know what an important route Oxford Road is so we’re going to be working at night and doing both jobs at once to keep disruption to a minimum.
“We’re planning to repair both leaks without shutting the water off but there is a small chance customers may experience interruptions to their supply. We’ve written to anyone who could be affected.”
