FIREFIGHTERS tackled two car fires in west Reading late last night.
A crew from Dee Road fire station was called to Deacon Way at 11.15pm after a blue Peugeot 306 caught fire, and they managed to extinguish it quickly.
They were then called to a car park in Kensington Road following another fire in a silver Ford Fiesta at 12.02am. No one was hurt in either of the incidents and firefighters suspect it was arson.
Watch manager Steve Andrews said: "I would warn anyone that uses the Kensington Road car park to be aware that car fires happen regularly there."
Both incidents are being investigated by the fire authority.
