FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspected arson attack in Newbury last night.
Crews from Newbury fire station rushed to Moor Lane at around 9pm following reports of a white Mercedez-Benz van on fire.
They found that one of the rear tyres of the vehicle was alight, and police cordoned off the area for around an hour while the firefighters tackled the blaze.
Officers are now investigating the cause of the fire.
