A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a woman and a child were taken to hospital on Sunday following a car crash in Twyford.
The 12-year-old boy, from Maidenhead, and female driver were travelling in a Mini on the A4 New Bath Road towards Reading when they collided with a Honda S2000 travelling on the opposite carriageway.
They were taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
A 27-year-old man from Reading has been arrested and released on police bail until Sunday, July 22, and PC Matthew Clayton, of the Joint Roads Policing Unit, said: "I am very keen to speak to the driver of a white or light coloured Ford Fiesta which was travelling along the A4 towards Knowl Hill at the time, or indeed anyone who may have seen what happened or seen any of the cars being driven along the A4 at Twyford prior to the collision."
