For this week’s Reading Chronicle Camera Club, we have decided to choose your wonderful photos of the Flying Scotsman, as the famous train made its way into Berkshire last week.
The express passenger train operates between Edinburgh and London, the capitals of both Scotland and England.
After word got out about the train’s potential arrival in Berkshire, locals, train enthusiasts and general members of the public decided to descend on several stations across the area to a glimpse at the famous vehicle.
The service is one of the oldest in the world as it began in 1862, yet, 160, it is still talked about.
If you would like to have your images shared in next week’s paper, please submit them to the Reading Chronicle Camera Club page.
It is free to do so and there is no limit in how many snaps you can send.
We love seeing all your photos.
