A BMW “fled” after knocking down a cyclist in Thatcham, according to an injured man.
The car hit Jason Tillen, 50, “clean off his bike” on January 7 as it turned onto Bath Road from Bourne Road at 7.50am, before speeding off, he said.
Nearby residents rushed to help him after he sustained a bruised arm and knee, but Mr Tillen, from Thatcham, said it could have been much worse.

“You are a coward and a danger to the road, this could have been a lot more serious and yet you decided to flee the scene and not even check if I was ok,” he said.
He continued: “Whilst I was sparked out on the floor they reversed and wheel spun up the A4 towards Newbury, unfortunately I did not have time to see the registration plate.”
