FOLK singers can take centre stage at a singers' night on Sunday.

Readifolk - the town's premier folk song and music club - runs a weekly night at RISC above the Global Café on London Street, Reading, and this week is an unthemed singers' night.

Anybody is welcome to go along to perform a song, tune, poem or joke or simply listen and chat.

The evening, which is from 8-10.30pm and costs £1, is part of a jam-packed season of reknowned singers and bands.
