The pair will taking a break from the ice to open up to fans in their Our Life On Ice: In Conversation With Torvill and Dean 15-date tour, which will follow the release of their tell-all autobiography on Thursday, October 9.

They said: “The fact that we won't be on the ice might seem strange at first, but it will give us the chance to meet the people who have supported us over the past 30 years in an intimate setting, where we can share our stories live.”

Torvill and Dean first threw themselves into the spotlight in the Eighties when they were awarded the maximum of 12 scores of six for their routine in the 1984 Winter Olympics.

The iconic skaters will be setting the story straight about their public and private lives as they approach their 40th anniversary of working together.

They will be at Reading Concert Hall on Friday, November 28 with tickets priced at £40, which includes an exclusive edition of their autobiography, Torvill and Dean: Our Life on Ice.

Tickets are on sale from 9.30am today (Friday) and available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
