ASTRONOMER and TV presenter Mark Thompson will bring his show Stargazer to the Norden Farm Arts Centre, in Altwood Road, on Friday.

The presenter will be shedding light on the mysteries of the universe using live demonstrations on stage.

He’ll be taking complex scientific concepts and bringing them to life with a bang, in an engaging and entertaining way, which has earned him the name of the ‘People’s Astronomer’.

Mark has two decades of experience in astronomy and bringing it to the public. He is best known for co-presenting BBC1’s Stargazing Live. He also appears on BBC1’sThe One Show and ITV1’s The Alan Titchmarsh Show and writes regular columns for Discovery News.

He has lectured at the Royal Institution and National Astronomy Meeting, and is President of the Norwich Astronomical Society. He has also written a book A Down to Earth Guide to the Cosmos, and has recently been commissioned to write another.
