“Reading has a great talent pool in all forms and this is one example where you can see local people excel. In the year that we’re moving to our new premises and expanding our business we’re proud to be a part of this event once again and look forward to seeing lots of people attend.”

Artwork on display will include etchings, screen printing, printmaking. photography, textiles, painting, beadwork, glass and hand- crafted furniture.

Jenny Halstead, co-ordinator of the event, said: “The organisers and the artists are very grateful to Haslams for continuing to support and sponsor the trail.

“Without such support from the community we could not stage and publicise this event, which has a unique community atmosphere and attracts hundreds of visitors every year.”
