Attention Thieves added to bill for Reading Festival

On the bill: Attention Thieves

Berkshire band Attention Thieves have been announced for the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading Festival.

The alt-rock Reading four piece, who recently released EP Look A Little Closer, join up-and-coming acts including screamo-punks Max Raptor and the hotly-tipped Deaf Club on the BBC Introducing bill at the festival.

The three-day festival is headlined on the main stage by The Cure, Kasabian and Foo Fighters, with Maccabees, At The Drive-In, Florence and the Machine and Paramore also playing at Little John's Farm, Reading, from Friday, August 24-Sunday August 26.

Sunday day tickets for the festival are sold out. Weekend tickets cost £197.50 plus booking fee, and day tickets £85 from www.readingfestival.com
