The latest addition to the cutting-edge comedy line-up at the St Leonard's Road venue is Kevin Bridges.

The bluntly out-spoken Glaswegian comic and Live At The Apollo host is bringing his fresh-out-of-the-box Work In Progress to the chuckle-hungry crowds at The Firestation on Saturday, June 23.

More top stand-up offerings come from Peep Show's Isy Suttie on Thursday,

June 28, and Canadian Taylor Glenn on Friday, July 13.

The Firestation is putting on a series of free events to ensure friends and families enjoy themselves across the warmer months. The Big Picnic, in Alexandra Gardens on the Jubilee weekend, Sunday, June 3, is a date for the diary, with music from emerging artist Luminites, who recently toured with N-Dubz's Dappy, among others.
