This Friday marks the 1st Birthday of our monthly club night CUBED at SUB89 and we are celebrating by bringing one of the biggest dance acts in the world to Reading! Fake Blood can regularly be seen headlining dance tents at festivals around the world and sending crowds into a frenzy with his bouncy bass-heavy electro sound. Combined with this, he has great skills on the decks and a famous past (he used to be known as The Wiseguys who had a big hit with 'Oh La La' in the late nineties).

Support on the night comes from LeBreton, a DJ from Fake Blood's own record label Blood Music, plus local talent in the form of Dolla & Supa Crush. Dolla (AKA: Mark Fitzpatrick) has played regularly in Reading clubs for some time now and is one of the most versatile and impressive DJs in the area, never failing to fill a dancefloor.

Supa Crush, at just 18 years old, is a definite 'one to watch' when it comes to local producers and DJs who go on to greater things. He has recently had one of his tracks feature in Ego Troopers' Top 10 for March 2012 (highly rated Belgian duo) and we can only see him gaining more supports in the future.

To add to the music, the 1st Birthday Party will include numerous surprises and treats. One we can give away is that local hair and make-up experts ShillitoSisters will be on hand to offer face painting for the assembled crowd - getting everyone looking the part before Fake Blood plays his first Reading show at CUBED!

Still going strong, and soon to reach its 4th Birthday, is our weekly club night Skint Mondays. Recent nights with DJ sets from Two Door Cinema Club and Friendly Fires were well received - both bands displaying their love of electro & nu-disco.

Upcoming nights over the next two months include a launch party for Summer Break festival and a giveaway of tickets to Reading Festival. More guest DJs coming up too… for all the news first 'like' the page at www.facebook.com/skintmondaysclub
