Registration - Terms & Conditions

Users of this site may submit material for publication in various areas of it, including our messageboards, blogs and as comments on individual stories. We accept no liability in respect of any material submitted by users and published by us and we are not responsible for its content and accuracy.

While the administrators and moderators of this site will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every posting. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to this site express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or web editors (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

If you want to submit material to us for publication on this site you may do so, subject to the following terms and conditions:

• Publication of any material you submit to us will be at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit.
• Any material you post may be republished by us in print or online and you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to do this.
• You agree not to post anything abusive, obscene, offensive, or defamatory, or anything that may be deemed to violate any pertinent applicable laws, including laws on copyright. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and, in extreme cases, your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
• You agree not to post material which either promotes or advertises any commercial products or services.
• As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
• This registration and login system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to make using our sites easier for you. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
• You acknowledge that any breach of these warranties may cause us damage or loss and you agree to indemnify us in full and permanently against any third party liabilities, claims, costs, loss or damage we incur as a result of publishing material you submit to us, including consequential losses.
