Dreamy and delicate: The Gloves Of Turlupin
CLARE Bevan's latest foray into theatre tells the delicate folk tale of The Gloves Of Turlupin from Sunday to Monday.
The mythical boy, whose treasured white gloves are his faithful companion in a wild adventure featuring ancient spells and fearless lions, must collect three outlandish gifts to win the heart of miserable Princess Harpigella.
The play will be performed in the Studio Theatre and is by local writer Clare Bevan, who used to teach at Meadow Vale Junior School and whose poems have appeared in more than 100 anothologies.
Suitable for children over the age of three, with 11am and 3pm performances on Sunday and a 2pm performance on Tuesday. Tickets are £10 from www.southillpark.org.uk or by calling 01344 484123
