In pursuit of dreams

Michael Jackson: Smooth Criminal, Madonna: Justify My Love, Katy Perry: Last Friday Night...and, coming soon, Victoria Summer: Love Will Have To Wait.

Yes, the next great pop video, promoting my debut single, is in the works and my hope is that it will be as unforgettable, stylish and special as those three classics mentioned above.

I'm currently brainstorming ideas with a brilliant director and we both agree that one of the keys to a fantastic pop video is making sure the action on screen reflects the meaning of the song. So what is my up-tempo track, Love Will Have To Wait, all about? Well, it's about me, my love life and where I'm at in this moment of time - having relocated from- Berkshire and still finding my place in Hollywood.

Let me explain further... I was born with a terrible need for affection and a terrible need to give it!

Luckily I have my cat, Missy, who by the way, is set for a cameo in the video. She gets a torrent of affection that she most willingly accepts. Sigh... If I could find a man the same it would be glorious!

But as the lyrics of Love Will Have to Wait reflect, mine is currently a lonely life of solitude in pursuit of my dreams. That's fine. It seems this way for now and I accept it. I actually love my own company, it helps me recharge.

I also love that I get to express myself and my feelings through music and now through a video.
