Outdoors: Beauty And The Beast

THE classic children's fairytale Beauty And The Beast will be delighting families with a magical open-air performance.

The Chapterhouse Theatre Company will bring the enchanting story to Mapledurham House, near Reading, on Wednesday.

Children can meet the fearsome Beast who hides away in his terrifying castle and Beauty who melts his heart with her kindness.

Guests can dress up in their favourite fancy dress, bring their picnics along and join in the fairytale parade during the interval.

Grounds open for picnics at 11.30am and the performance starts at 1pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £7 for children and £30 for families of two adults and two children.
