Matthew Greener from long-lost Reading band Morning Runner will be replacing exlovers at the Pete And The Pirates Christmas shindig on Sunday.
Morning Runner had a number of hit singles in the middle of this decade and parted company in late 2007. But their music and fanbase live on with their songs featuring on TV shows including the theme to 'The Inbetweeners' and on computer games too.
Lead vocalist Greener is unveiling a new musical project shortly which he formed with Ali Clewer, also of Morning Runner, but will be performing a rare solo set.
Also on the Sub89 lineup are Worship, formed from the ashes of Fox Cubs.
