The OLOP team secured the title with an unbeaten record as Krasomer Ivanov and Trung Tran notched up maximums at YMCA.

Kingfisher A all but sealed the runners-up position after winning 7-3 against Kingfisher C, Federico Viterbo with a maximum and Steve Murgatroyd beating Mark Banks 9-11 11-9 11-9 10-12 11-8 for the C team.

John Barclay’s treble helped Tidmarsh A to a 7-3 win at Curzon Club A. Wokingham A were promoted from Division Two and remain on course for the title after a 7-3 win over a determined Milestone A side in their re-arrange match.

Brian Chinnock, Daryl Griffith and Jim Spencer all scored for the home team while Robin Benwell and Hugh Crosfield won for the visitors.    Brian Chinnock, Daryl Griffith and Jim Spencer then went on to inflict an 8-2 defeat on Polish A, Jacek Krzyanowski and guest Grant Wheatley scoring for the visitors.  Tidmarsh C were also promoted and completed their version of ‘The Great Escape’ by recovering from 4-3 down to win 6-4 against Kingfisher E.   John Morris, Geoff Civil and Colin Dyke all scored for the visitors.   Both teams were already relegated in the bottom-of-the-table clash as Kingfisher G were outgunned by a determined Tilehurst Methodists A 9-1, Nigel Rowland getting a maximum alongside a first treble of the season for Phil Jones and a double from Paul Treadgold.  A John Simmonds treble with doubles from Simon Hopkins and Denise Weller gave Post Office A an 8-2 win over Kingfisher F, Allan Bruton replying for the visitors.   Sonning Common & Peppard C were outplayed by Our Lady of Peace D who won 9-1, Danny Dockree getting the only win against Ben Huang with Philip Zeng, Ben Huang and Steve Ng all scoring for the visitors.

A hard-fought Robin Benwell treble with support from Hugh Crosfield and John Tucker saw Milestone A defeat Our Lady of Peace C 8-2, with Dan West and Siad Cole scoring for the home side.

In the Division Three promotion decider, Our Lady of Peace E beat rivals Springfield A 7-3 thanks to a brilliant hat-trick from Michael McAllister which included a victory over Phil Burke.

Harry Brough gave him good support by winning two while Phil Saunders weighed in with a single.

Polish B gained a surprise 6–4 win over champions Wokingham B with Stephen Yon, Grant Wheatley and Dan Dzieciol all gaining doubles while Kingfisher H had a good 8–2 win over Curzon Club B with Carol Byers and Dave Duncan both hitting trebles.

Nils Wedi hit a good maximum but could not prevent Kingfisher I going down 3–7 to Sonning Sports A for whom Dave Chard, Bob Woodmansee and Nigel Goodman all obtained doubles.

In a vital match at the bottom, Birch Copse A won 6-4 at Tilehurst Methodists B with Simon Clarke winning all three.

Jes Eassom hit a double and Mike Williams gained that important single. Birch Copse have now finished their matches so must wait for the final two Pangbourne results before knowing if they have avoided the drop.  Sonning Common & Peppard D are champions of Division Four after they beat Milestone B 7-3, Anthony Reeve’s win against Gerard Thorpe 11-7 11-8 11-6 sealing the title ahead of Our Lady of Peace F who won 8-2 against Milestone C.

Tidmarsh D won 6-4 against Kingfisher J, despite a fine maximum from Kingfisher’s John Creighton. Angus Jones and Matt Tarrant both starred with maximums as Sonning Common & Peppard F clinched their survival with an 8-2 win at Tidmarsh E. Polish C and Our Lady of Peace G continue to go toe to toe in Division Five after Polish won 10-0 at Springfield E while Nigel Antell, Willis Ma and Jan Polnik all got trebles as Our Lady of Peace beat Springfield D 10-0.

The rearranged match between these two teams will decide the title but Springfield C finished third after they beat Milestone D 9-1, Adam Sheen and Alan Gould with maximums.
